How do I force delete thumbs db?

Can not delete thumbs db?

• b. Click “Appearance and Personalization”
• c. Click “Folder Options”
• d. Open the “View” tab.
• e. Uncheck “Display file icon on thumbnails”
• f. Click OK, and exit control panel. You should now be able to delete the folder and the thumbs. db file.

Can’t delete because Thumbs DB is open?

The solution is to wait a few hours and try again, or to copy a jpg file into the folder, set to large icons or thumbnail view if needed, and after the thumbs. db is recreated you can then delete it.
